Last night we attended the Resistance Pro Wrestling party at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL, to celebrate their first TV show which will air on Sunday on WCIU-TOO in Chicago. Everyone had a great time watching a preview of the show.
Unfortunately, they also announced the death of Sam Thompson, Head of the Street Team, official time keeper and one of the R Pro family.
Billy Corgan was there talking wrestling, posing for pictures and signing autographs. It was a proud night for all involved.
I posed with women's champ Melanie Cruise, Eric St. Vaughn, Billy Corgan and the Heavyweight title belt. I also got a picture of owners Jacques and Gabriel Baron (the owners) along with Johngy of Johngy's Beat. Once again, everyone with R Pro could not have been any nice and more fan-friendly.
